rondequoit woman is dead after a weekend car crash near Frontier Field.
Rochester Police say a car driven by a 72-year-old Irondequoit man with a 73-year-old Irondequoit woman in the passenger seat was hit by a pickup truck at the corner of Brown and Verona Streets Saturday afternoon.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured…but the 73-year-old passenger suffered critical injuries and later died at Strong Memorial Hospital.
The intersection had to be shut down for several hours, affecting traffic in and out of Saturday Night’s Red Wings game.
