A pickup truck went off the road on Atlantic Avenue Wednesday morning between Five Mile Line Road and Baird Road, striking a power pole and bringing the wires down onto the road.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says the 25-year-old driver was doing the speed limit and investigation determined he was not drunk. The driver was uninjured, but the road was closed for about two hours while the wires were removed.
