State Police say a car turned left on Route 28 in Farmington yesterday, failing to yield to an oncoming car. Both drivers ended up in the hospital.
Troopers say 84-year-old Walter Davis of Shortsville turned across the path of 54-year-old Glenn Feidner, also from Shortsville. Feidner couldn’t stop and slammed into Davis’ car.
Davis had to be extricated from the wreck by the Manchester Fire Department and was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital. Feidner was taken to Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
The investigation is ongoing.
