On Monday and Tuesday, the Monroe County Department of Public Health reported fewer than 100 new cases of COVID-19. That hasn’t happened since March 22. The seven day rolling average of new cases is still above 100, at 124 per day.
171 people remain hospitalized in the Finger Lakes region, and 42 are in the ICU.
The Health Department now estimates nearly 56 percent of Monroe County residents have at least one dose of the vaccine.
