A couple taking part in a tandem bike tour were injured Sunday when their bike went out of control and crashed down an embankment in the Ontario County town of Gorham.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Chasta and Daniel McKee of Massachusetts were riding on Depew Road when they crashed. Daniel McKee suffered only abrasions but Chanda McKee suffered a shoulder and head injury despite her helmet and was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight.
