Monroe County is setting up four vaccination clinics beginning Saturday, November 6th for children ages five-to-eleven, whose parents want to get them vaccinated against COVID-19

The clinics in Greece, Pittsford and Rochester will serve only young children to avoid any possible injection with an adult dose of the vaccine. County Executive Adam Bello says they’re an option for people who aren’t able to see their pediatrician quickly enough, or who don’t have a pediatrician for their children.

County health officials say vaccination is the best tool they have to end the COVID-19 pandemic.

Appointment-only pediatric clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 at Pittsford
Plaza, 3349 Monroe Ave.; The Mall at Greece Ridge, 112 Greece Ridge Center Drive.; and at
the Monroe Community College Downtown Campus, 321 State Street and Morrie Silver Way.
There are a limited number of walk-in slots available for youth ages 5 to 11 from 1:00 to 4:00
p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Edgerton R-Center, 41 Backus Street.
