Fake $100 bills were passed at half-a-dozen businesses in Brockport over the weekend.
Brockport Police say in each case someone bought a small item, paid with a fake $100 and left with the change. They believe the same three suspects cheated each businesses and that only fake 100s were used.
Stores and restaurants that were targeted used social media to alert other businesses to what was going on.
