A Rochester man who shot another man to death and wounded a second man in separate incidents last year has been convicted of second degree murder and second degree attempted murder.
The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says 29-year-old Robert Colon was found guilty of those and other crimes in the shooting death of Roger Palermo, who was the unintended victim of a shooting incident on First Street in Rochester. Colon, who was a parolee, then went on to shoot and injure another man in a robbery attempt a few weeks later.
Colon was arrested first for the robbery, then identified as the man who fired the fatal shot at Roger Palermo.
He’ll be sentenced late next month.
