Power went out Tuesday afternoon to about 6-thousand Rochester Gas and Electric customers, but the largest concentration of damaged circuits had nothing to do with the thunderstorms that swept across the area.
The supervisor of Chili says a construction crew accidentally cut a power line, knocking out power to that part of Chili. That outage was fixed as of about 4:30 this afternoon, and damage caused by fallen trees and power lines from Rochester to Victor was fixed by 6:30 p.m.
