The New York State Department of Transportation will close East Henrietta Road both ways over the Memorial Day Weekend between the 390 ramps and Westfall Road in Brighton. Construction crews will be pouring the final concrete deck of the new bridge over the Erie Canal.

The road closes at 7:00 p.m. Thursday and should reopen by 6:00 Wednesday morning, May 30th. Town officials say it would be a good idea to avoid that area while the work is underway.

While the concrete is pouring, traffic won’t be able to get off 390 onto East Henrietta Road. Detours will be posted.

The bridge on 15A is part of a $31 million rebuild of the I-390 – 15A interchange. Construction should be complete in the fall.
