Constellation Brands is reporting net sales growth of 17 percent across all of its product lines, strongly driven by growing demand for the various beers the company produces.
Net beer sales were up by 20 percent, and generated 60 percent of Constellation’s dollar growth.
The Victor-based company also announced it’s laying down about $160 million to buy the Utah-based High West Distillery and its stable of award-winning whiskies and other products.
CEO Rob Sands says Constellation gained market share across its business and is making investments for the future.
