The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says a Conesus man who was caught up in last week’s police raid on a suspected drug business has been charged with felony possession of a weapon.
They say 33-year-old Jason Brockett was driving towards Bone Yard Auto while police were serving a search warrent on a suspected meth operation there. He was detained and questioned about why he was going there when the business was supposed to be closed. He was carryng a butterfly-type gravity knife, which is illegal in New York. Brockett was hit with the weapon charge because he had a previous drug crime conviction.
He’s being held on $2,000 bail.
