The first new tenant has moved into Skview on The Ridge, the former Medley Centre Mall in Irondequoit.
Conduent Corporation now has a call center up and running in offices converted from the former Macy’s Store at the mall. Conduent is the business services company spun off last year from Xerox Corporation. Its call center moved from the Xerox Campus in Webster down the road to Skyview.
Officials say they held the ribbon-cutting ceremony today, but the employees have actually been up and running at Skyview since the end of last year. The company put more than $7 million into upgrading the space as the first sign of life in the complex.
