Rochester’s Cobbs Hill Dog Park will stay open on a permanent basis; no longer considered an experiment by City Hall.

A statement from the city says the Cobbs Hill dog park has shown dog parks are a beneficial addition to the city park system. The city is studying where new dog parks can be located around the city.

Mayor Lovely Warren says the feedback from city residents has been overwhelmingly in favor of dog parks and she looks forward to building new ones across Rochester. The Cobbs Hill dog park for now is only open to city residents with a permit, but the permit is free.
