The City of Rochester is finally getting the dog park promised for Cobb’s Hill Park.
Legislation just submitted by Mayor Lovely Warren sets aside $40,000 to be spent on setting up the dog park on the northeast corner of Cobb’s Hill. It’s for a six-month trial period, and after that the city will evaluate how things went.
The park will be about three-quarters of an acre, and dog owners will be able to let them run free inside it.
The proposal doesn’t say when they’ll start construction.
