Wayne County deputies have charged two Clyde residents with animal abuse after finding a number of animals left without food or water.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Nicholas Rosario and 41-year-old Darlene Humby were arrested after an investigation into the condition of animals at a residence in the Town of Arcadia. The animals were found without food or water.
Eight cats, three dogs and seven puppies were taken into the custody of the Wayne County Humane Society. Rosario and Humby were charged with torturing and injuring animals, plus other charges. Both were released on appearance tickets.
