A Clifton Springs man charged with making a video of himself engaging in sexual contact with a child was out on bail on earlier charges of doing the same thing when he was arrested.
Tristin Mayes was charged with promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child. He and his girlfriend were also arrested in June after a tip to Child Protective Services led to an investigation by State Police. Those charges involved a six-year-old boy. The new charges involve a year-old girl.
The 31-year-old Mayes allegedly shot video of himself abusing the child between March, 2015 and June, 2016.
He’s being held on $100,000 bail in the Ontario County Jail.
