There’s been another incident of a pedestrian being struck by a car on Lake Avenue in Rochester, this time a teenager on his way to school.
City police say a 14-year-old student at the Rochester Leadership Academy was crossing the street at Lake Avenue and Stonewood Road in Charlotte when he was hit by a southbound car. The injured teenager was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where his injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
Police have arrested 34-year-old Anthony Quitaldi on a charge of aggravated driving without a license.
