The City School District is rethinking having most students in grades 7-12 learn virtually for the rest of the school year.

Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small says she’s looking into the possibility of a hybrid learning model for those students that would have them in the classrooms for two days, then learning online for the rest of the week. She says details haven’t been worked out yet.

Myers-Small said earlier this month that a survey of parents and students found only 25 percent wanted to take part in hybrid learning. She announced then that grades 7-12 would be virtual classes for the rest of the year.
