Plans for construction of an entertainment complex, performance venue and mixed-use development at the Midtown Parcel 5 site are moving forward.
Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren announced this afternoon that former RBA President Sandy Parker will lead the project……which will combine an entertainment and performance complex with housing, retail shops and restaurants and will be a joint venture between Morgan Communities and the RBTL.
The city says $90 million of the necessary $135 million has been secured, and Mayor Warren has submitted legislation to City Council to hire a consultant to work with Parker on the project.
Mayor Warren says “this project is more than a building – it is an investment in the people of Rochester.”
