The father of a missing Chili girl has posted on his Facebook page that a South Carolina man is definitely a suspect in Brittanee Drexel’s murder.
Chad Drexel responded to reports beginning on Friday about a release of court papers that confirmed how the 17-year-old girl died while on a spring break trip to Myrtle Beach. That city’s newspaper got ahold of those papers.
On Facebook, Drexel writes that he’s hired a private investigator and has proof linking a man named Timothy Da’Shaun Taylor to Brittanee’s murder. Taylor’s family defended him on social media over the weekend after Taylor was named in those stories. Chad Drexel says he knows specific information about Taylor he can’t disclose now…but it corroborates the stories.
The court papers quoted an FBI agent who learned from a prison inmate that Brittanee Drexel had been held captive, forced into prostitution, and killed when she tried to escape. They said her body was thrown into an alligator-filled swamp.
Drexel says Taylor has been followed to that same area where his daughter’s DNA was found.
