Henrietta Town Officials are hoping to prevent a repeat of the traffic jams that hit Greece when a Chik-fil-A opened off Ridge Road. The restaurant chain is proposing to locate at the former Joe’s Crab Shack site on Jefferson Road.

Town officials were meeting informally with Chik-fil-A even before a Henrietta Planning Board meeting took up the issue Tuesday night.

The town wants to make sure traffic keeps flowing when the restaurant opens, and town fire officials are concerned about maintaining access for emergency vehicles.

The restaurant developers said they will have two drive-through lanes and employees in the wait lines to keep traffic moving.
