Chick-fil-A is closer to opening its first Rochester area restaurant on West Ridge Road in Greece. The Town Board voted Tuesday night to approve rezoning and a special use permit for the southern chicken sandwich chain to build on a vacant lot across from the Mall at Greece Ridge Center.
A number of speakers spoke in favor of the chain, but some also raised concerns about more traffic on Ridge Road.
Chick-fil-A will still need a site plan approval from the Greece Town Planning Board to move forward.
