Two Rochester police cars were damaged in a chase down Hudson Avenue early Monday morning after shots were fired in the area.
Police responding to the call located a car that was involved in the shooting and tried to stop it, but the driver took off. Police gave chase and the car finally crashed at Hudson and Nassau Streets.
The occupants of the car were not injured and were detained for questioning. One officer was taken to Rochester General Hospital with a minor injury.
