A Victor man is facing charges after he tried to run from Ontario County deputies, then crashed into a tree on Dryer Road in Victor.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says 53-year-old Everett Zuhlsdorf was speeding on Cork Road early this morning when they tried to pull him over. But Zuhlsdorf tried to evade the deputies before zooming up his own driveway, missing a turn and crashing into a tree.

Zuhlsdorf and one of the two passengers in his car were taken to the hospital to be checked out. The second passenger was treated at the scene.

Zuhlsdorf was arrested for driving while high on drugs, driving without a license, fleeing from police and drug possession charges. Both passengers were also charged with having drugs on them.
