Dan Jansen, Steve Tasker, Martin Biron, and John Wildhack headline the event on July 13.

GATES, N.Y. — Olympic champion speedskater Dan Jansen, Buffalo Bills great Steve Tasker, former Buffalo Sabres goaltender Martin Biron and Syracuse University Athletic Director John Wildhack headline the celebrities for the Kinecta Celebrity Golf Invitational on July 13th at Brook-Lea Country Club. Those four will team up with an elite list of LPGA Symetra Tour players, healthcare workers, school employees, media personalities and sponsors in a nine-hole scramble to benefit charities across the region.

Fans are invited to enjoy the fun-filled event in an afternoon of fun kicking off at 1:30 PM! Jennifer Mobilia and Jennifer Lewke of WHEC-TV (NBC/Channel 10) will serve as celebrity emcees! The invitational is held in conjunction with the sixth annual Danielle Downey Credit Union Classic, July 15-18 at BLCC.

•Jansen was a perennial fan-favorite and multiple world champion speedskater who won gold in 1994 in his final race.
•Now an NFL color analyst, Tasker is best known for being a seven-time Pro Bowl selection as a Bills special teams star and wide receiver from 1986-1997.
•A first-round draft pick by the Sabres in 1995, Biron spent eight years with Buffalo and also formerly played for the Rochester Americans. He still resides in Western New York and is a studio analyst for MSG.
•Wildhack is completing his fifth year as the leader at SU, which is his alma mater. Prior to that, he was an executive at ESPN for 28 years.

Tickets for the general public are $10 and available at the gate or online at danielledowneyclassic.com. First responders, members of the military, children under 16, all students with ID, members of local credit unions, healthcare workers and School employees are admitted to this event and the week-long tournament for free! People attending this event will get a week-long tournament ticket for free as well. Fans are asked to arrive early, park at the Tinseltown Theater lot, and shuttle to the course by 1 PM. There will be concessions available for lunch, and music beginning at 1. The emcees will start the event at 1:30 and tee times will begin at 2 PM.
