Rochester police are investigating a carjacking shortly before 10:00 Sunday night on Edinburgh Street. The victim told police he was getting out of his car when several suspects approached him, one of them with a gun. They took his money and car keys and drove off. Nobody was injured.
Rochester police say a car went careening off Del Monte Street about 11:15 Thursday night and crashed into the front porch of a house. A man is being treated at Rochester General Hospital after arriving there just before 2:00 Friday morning suffering from a stab wound. The victim was injured in an incident on Central Avenue. No suspects are in custody yet.
