Wegmans opens its newest store this weekend, in Owings Mills, Maryland, not far from Baltimore. Another opens November 6th in Charlottesville, Virginia. Wegmans has posted plans for eight more stores in the near future. The company’s footprint now stretches from Virginia to Massachusetts and it’s working on possible sites in North Carolina.
Irondequoit Police have a suspect in custody following a robbery at a Hudson Avenue gas station Wednesday night. Police say a man displayed a weapon, demanded money and fled on foot.
