New York State has yet to pass laws allowing sports betting, but the del Lago Resort and Casino is already partnering with DraftKings to start accepting bets if it does become legal.
Both say in a press release that they’re creating both a retail sportsbook, plus mobile and online sports wagering now that the Supreme Court has said sports betting should be legal. They expect to move forward as soon as New York approves sports betting legislation and regulations.
New York would be a major revenue source for DraftKings, which is already moving to set up sports betting on NFL games in New Jersey where the state has already enacted the legislation.
