A car collided with a motorcycle at the corner of Dewey and Electric Avenues in Rochester late Sunday night, sending the rider to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say the car was heading south on Dewey when the driver tried to turn left onto Electric Avenue. He turned across the path of a northbound motorcycle which crashed into his car. The 20-year-old city man driving the car stayed on scene and cooperated with police. He was issued several traffic tickets.
The rider was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.
