Rochester police say a BMW driver lost control on Emerson Street in the city Thursday evening, slammed into a utility pole and then into the front porch of a house. The car continued to hit another house, where it ended up stuck under the front porch.
Police say the 22-year-old man who was driving and a 20-year-old woman who was his passenger escaped injury, but were sent to the hospital as a precaution to be checked out. No tickets were issued.
