A Canandaigua woman is charged with multiple counts of grand larceny, petit larceny, identity theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and other crimes.
Canandaigua Police say 42-year-old Venus Emister stole a debit card, and over a month used it to make multiple withdrawals from ATMs. She had a car repossessed without the owner’s permission, stole license plates, stole a wallet and drove a car without the owner’s consent and without a license. While this was going on, she was wanted by police on a warrant, also for driving without a license.
Edmister is being held on $2,500 bail pending a court date.
