Canandaigua PoliceCanandaigua Police say they’ve charged 58-year-old Sandra Martin with leaving her dog in the back seat of her car while she ate lunch at a diner yesterday.

The Ontario County Humane Society read the dog’s outer body temperature at 125 degrees after they got it out of the car.

Martin has been charged with confinement of a companion animal in a vehicle at extreme temperatures.
