Canandaigua Police say they’ve resolved a situation involving a threat made via social media against that city’s schools. They say they identified the individuals involved and resolved the situation, but because of their ages they won’t be releasing any more information about them.
Police say their case is being referred to Family Court for disposition.
Police say they were notified of the online threat by the Canandaigua City School District on Saturday and were able to identify the parties responsible in a few hours. They say additional officers were stationed at all city schools on Monday, primarily to ease the minds of students, parents and employees.
