For the third time in recent weeks, gunfire was heard in Rochester’s East End as police sought to break up crowds gathered around East Avenue and Alexander Street.
This time, they say groups of people apparently fired on each other across East Avenue. Nobody was hit, but the windows of News 10 NBC and Bubble Fusion across the street from Channel 10 were shattered by gunfire. Channel 10 employees who were at work during the incident about 1:40 in the morning took cover.
Police continue to investigate.
