A 911 call led police to discover a burned body in LaGrange Park this morning.
Police responded with a heavy presence after the body was found near LaGrange and Aborwood Crescent about 6:20 in the morning.
Police said in a brief statement that the Fire and Police departments determined the person was dead. The victim has not yet been identified. Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 or Crime Stoppers and they asked for patience in what they say will be a lengthy investigation.
They didn’t take questions and have not talked about any possible connection between this discovery and a burning body found late Monday night off a rural dirt road in Caledonia.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood and closed down LaGrange Avenue from Electric Avenue to Arborwood Crescent.
The LaGrange Rec Center was closed and children were bused to Edgerton Rec Center.
New York State Police have also joined the investigation.
