An auto dealership service building that was under construction collapsed this afternoon in Geneva. It happened on Route 14 at Geneva Foreign and Sports Auto.
Two people were injured in the collapse and were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. OSHA inspectors spent the afternoon at the scene.
It’s unknown why the building collapsed, but authorities at the scene say wind may have been a factor. According to Geneva Foreign and Sports’ recent Facebook post, the construction was a new 14 bay service shop.
