A Brooklyn man has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs under the so-called “Leandra’s Law” after being pulled over in Livingston County.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 22-year-old Brandon Abriz was pulled over on Route 63 near Chandler Road after nearly causing a head-on crash with another car. Deputies determined he was impaired, didn’t have a driver’s license and also had an adult woman and her four-year-old daughter in the car with him. A search also found marijuana in the car.

Abriz has also been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
