Daniel Brodzinski pleaded guilty today to one count of tampering with physical evidence. He is scheduled to be sentenced October 20th.
Brodzinski was arrested after Melissa Autobee died of a heroin overdose at his apartment in Rochester. Instead of calling 911, Brodzinski flushed a needle and more than half-a-dozen bags of heroin down the toilet, and then waited more than an hour before calling for help.
He is facing six months in the Monroe County Jail and five years’ probation for evidence tampering. But Autobee’s parents believe their daughter would still be alive if he’d acted differently.
