Voters in the Brockport School District will go back to the polls tomorrow for the district’s second try at adopting a budget.
The near $79 million budget was defeated just over a month ago, 625 to 882, even though it include a 1.2 percent cut in the tax rate. The reason was believed to be opposition from the district’s support staff union.
The union and the Brockport schools have since reached a contract agreement and the union is now on the same page calling for approval of the budget,.
Voting is 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Technology and Training Center on Allen Street.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the district’s Technology and Training center, 40 Allen St.
