The Village of Brockport has announced the new police chief who’ll be taking over when Dan Varrenti retires as chief this coming March. He’s Lt. Mark Cuzzupoli, who says he’s “honored and humbled” at being promoted to chief effective March 31st.
Village Mayor Margay Blackman says in a statement that Cuzzopoli has already assumed a significant leadership role in the department, knows the officers and is a strong advocate of community policing.
Lt. Cuzzupoli has been with the Brockport Police Department for 22 years and is a SUNY Brockport graduate.
