A Brockport man and his passenger have been charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on East Main Road in Lima.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says 30-year-old James Smahol was pulled over for erratic driving. The deputy who made the stop called for a K9 unit, and the dog found numerous baggies of heroin and cocaine plus hypodermic needles.
Smahol and 24-year-old Mariah Brown of Rochester were each charged with three counts of criminal possession and other offenses. Both were arraigned and sent to jail until they could make bail.
