Brighton Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault that occurred over the weekend in a residential hall on the Monroe Community College campus.
A statement from Brighton Police Chief Mark Henderson says his department was alerted by MCC Public Safety and has identified the parties involved. He says the investigation is ongoing with assistance from MCC Public Safety, the New York State Police and the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.
A campus alert was sent earlier in the day on Sunday, but Henderson says there is no threat to the campus community at this time.
