Rochester firefighters recovered a body from the Genesee River just above the High Falls this morning. It was found by construction workers under the Inner Loop bridge by St. Paul Street.
Police said they believe it’s a man’s body. They had to close the ramp from the eastbound Inner Loop to State Street so the recovery crew had room to work. The Monroe County Medical Examiner was called in.
