The Yates County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigating after human remains were found in the Town of Jerusalem, about four miles from Penn Yan.
Investigators say it’s an apparent homicide case. Yates County authorities had the body sent to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office. Deputies say the body is that of a white male. The victim hasn’t been identified yet.
