A man has been charged with boating while drunk after a boat crashed into a breakwall in Sodus early this morning.
New York State Police say the boat crashed about 1:00 a.m. They charged 23-year-old Cory Donk with Boating While Intoxicated.
Donk’s passenger at first couldn’t be found, but was then spotted on an island near the breakwall where the boat crashed. Troopers say the man caught their attention and was rescued. He was treated for minor injuries at Strong Memorial and told police he blacked out after the crash.
