Rob Gronkowski, Buffalo native and enemy of the Buffalo Bills as a nine-year vet of the New England Patriots, retired this week.
Not only did the tight end torch the NFL in his career with 521 receptions, 7,861 yards and 79 touchdown receptions, he often did it to his hometown Bills. But that’s not the only reason why there are problems.
Tre’Davious White not only is a Bill, he’s a fan favorite that Gronk famously landed a cheap shot on in a game where White picked off a pass intended for him.
As the announcement of his retirement came about, the NFL’s social media helped spread the news with an Instagram post.
White made his feelings known.
White commented on the NFL’s Instragam post:
“He snuck me y’all !!! Almost broke me in half !! Great Player tho.”
In a separate comment, White wrote “never forget” as a hash tag:
Never change, Tre.
