After staying in their slot in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft on Thursday, landing defensive tackle Ed Oliver, the Buffalo Bills couldn’t resist on Friday.

The Bills have traded up two slots from pick No. 40 to pick No. 38, to select Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford.

In the deal, the Bills sent the second of their two fifth-round picks, No. 158 overall, to the Raiders, to move up two slots.

Ford was potentially a first-round pick of the Bills during the pre-draft process, having been mocked to the team in several scenarios. Ford has an excellent frame for the NFL at 6-foot-4, 329 pounds and can play either guard or tackle for the Bills.
