Coming back after the Bye Week, the Bills pulled past the Bucs to come away with the win.

In a nutshell:
The Bills looked for a moment like they had squandered an opportunity to put the game away early as a 17-6 lead vanished come the second half with Buffalo trailing 27-20 with 3:20 left in regulation. But a big 44-yard catch by Deonte Thompson led to a LeSean McCoy touchdown to tie the game with 2:28 remaining.
On the ensuing possession, Tre’Davious White force a fumble and recovered it at the Tampa 33-yard line. Buffalo then ran clock before bringing on Stephen Hauschka for a game-winning field goal from 30 yards away for a dramatic 30-27 victory.
LeSean McCoy accounted for 122 all-purpose yards and a pair of touchdowns in the victory as Buffalo ran for 173 yards and averaged 5.2 yards per carry.
The win improved Buffalo’s record to 4-2 on the season, and kept the Bills undefeated at home. They’ve begun the season 3-0 at home for the first time since 2011.
How it went down:
-The Buccaneers put points on the board on their opening possession. Jameis Winston led Tampa on an 11-play, 43-yard drive that culminated with a 50-yard field goal from Patrick Murray and an early 3-0 lead with 10 minutes left in the opening quarter.
-Buffalo responded with a field goal drive of their own to start. Tyrod Taylor found Nick O’Leary for a 32-yard pass play and scrambled for 26 yards on a 3rd-and-10 to extend the drive that finished with a 25-yard Stephen Hauschka field goal to tie the score (3-3) with six minutes left in the first quarter.
-Tampa Bay reached Buffalo’s red zone on their next possession, but had to settle for a short field goal from Murray to again go ahead by three (6-3) near the end of the first quarter.–The Bills took their first lead of the game with an impressive 12-play, 78-yard drive. LeSean McCoy carried it in on a one-yard touchdown run to give Buffalo a 10-6 lead nine minutes before the half.
-Buffalo was the first team to score in the second half as their opening drive in the third quarter went 75 yards on eight plays. Tyrod Taylor found an open Logan Thomas in the back left corner of the end zone for a 22-yard scoring pass with 11:30 minutes left in the third (17-6).
-Tampa made it a one score game when Jameis Winston found O.J. Howard wide open in the left flat for a seven-yard touchdown pass to pull the Bucs to within four (17-13).
-Buffalo was able to push their lead back up to seven when Stephen Hauschka connected from 52 yards out to give the Bills a 20-13 advantage early in the fourth quarter.
-The Bucs tied the game with 10 minutes left when Jameis Winston found O.J. Howard on a blown coverage for a 33-yard touchdown pass (20-20).
-Tampa Bay then took the lead when Jameis Winston hit Mike Evans along the right side of the end zone for a 12-yard touchdown pass with 3:20 remaining.
-Buffalo came up with an answer when on the heels of a 44-yard catch by Deonte Thompson in Bucs territory, LeSean McCoy rumbled into the end zone from seven yards out to tie the game with 2:28 left (27-27).
-On the ensuing possession, Tre’Davious White forced a fumble and recovered it at the Tampa Bay 33-yard line. The Bills offense then got close enough for a game-winning 30-yard field goal by Stephen Hauschka with 14 seconds left in the game for the win.

-LeSean McCoy scored his first touchdown of the season on a one-yard run for Buffalo’s first touchdown of the game. He had 91 yards rushing and 122 yards from scrimmage. He finished with two touchdowns in the game.
-The Bills had three takeaways in the game, but managed just three points scored off turnovers.
-Preston Brown went over 400 tackles for his career in the game. He finished with a team-leading 11 tackles.
-Stephen Hauschka hit a 52-yard field goal to tie the NFL record for most consecutive 50-yard field goals with 12.
-Tyrod Taylor eclipsed the 600-completion plateau on Sunday. He finished the game 20-33 for 268 yards and a touchdown with a passer rating of 96.5.
-Ryan Davis had a strip sack and forced fumble on Jameis Winston in the first half that was recovered by Leonard Johnson for a takeaway.
-Matt Milano had the first interception of his career late in the first half on a Jameis Winston pass intended for Cameron Brate.
-Cordy Glenn started for the first time since the opener. Dion Dawkins rotated in every third series or so for Cordy Glenn, who is still working into full game shape.
-Dion Dawkins also filled in at left guard in the game when Richie Incognito stepped out for most of a series after getting shaken up after getting cut low.
-Inactive for Buffalo on Sunday were Kaelin Clay, Ramon Humber, Seantrel Henderson, Conor McDermott, John Miller, Charles Clay and Cedric Thornton.
