The Bills added three players to their roster just before the opening of training camp, including a familiar face.

Buffalo Bills Insider Chris Brown provides the details. Here is his report:

The Bills made a few roster moves Tuesday just before the opening of training camp signing a pair of defensive players. Buffalo signed free agents Sam Barrington, Karim Barton and Bacarri Rambo.

Buffalo brought back a familiar player in Rambo. The 27-year old safety played two seasons with the Bills (2014-2015) appearing in 19 games making eight starts over that span. His biggest game came in the 2014 season when he picked off Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers in a 22-13 upset win over the Packers.

He posted career highs with the Bills in 2015 with 62 tackles, 11 pass breakups and two forced fumbles.

Rambo played for the Miami Dolphins last season where he helped to fill the void left by Reshad Jones, who suffered a season-ending shoulder injury and missed more than half of the 2016 season.

Barrington (6-1, 246) played for the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints last season, appearing in seven games. He was a backup inside linebacker for the Chiefs in their 3-4 scheme prior to his release last November. He was picked up by the Saints for the rest of the 2016 campaign where he served as a backup middle linebacker in New Orleans 4-3 front.

The 26-year old is a former seventh-round pick of the Green Bay Packers. The early part of Barrington’s career was curbed by injuries. He landed on injured reserve just after the midway point of his rookie year, and then a foot injury in Week 1 of the 2015 season cost him the last 15 games.

Barton (6-3, 313), 25, is a guard, who has spent the last three years on NFL practice squads. He originally with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie in 2014. He spent the 2014 season on the Cleveland Browns practice squad. Barton was on the Houston Texans practice squad in 2015 and then the Tennessee Titans practice squad last year.

To make room on the roster for Barrington and Rambo the Bills released OL Patrick Lewis and LB Anthony Harrell.
